We learn how you use the yard now and what you want it to do.

Built for El Paso's caliche soil, eight inches of rain, and the spring wind season. Free estimates across El Paso County and southern New Mexico.

Landscape design in El Paso starts with the conditions under our boots—caliche soil, alkaline pH, eight inches of annual rain, and a sun that punishes the wrong plant in the wrong place. We design yards for homes across El Paso, Horizon City, Socorro, and Canutillo that look intentional in every season and actually survive a Borderland summer. Every plan is drawn around how you want to live outdoors, not a national template dropped on a desert lot.
Local knowledge
A yard in El Paso is not a yard in Dallas or Phoenix. Our soils sit at pH 7.8–8.3, caliche layers can sit inches below the surface, and the spring wind season strips anything not anchored or chosen for it. Design that ignores those facts fails in the first summer.
Good design places the right plant in the right hydrozone—thirsty plants grouped near drip, desert natives on the dry edge—and plans for monsoon runoff from July through September before the first shovel hits the ground. It also accounts for El Paso Water's address-based watering-day restrictions and the conservation rebates available for converting turf to xeriscape.
We design for sightlines, shade, and use: a patio that catches the evening breeze, a screen of Texas sage that blocks a neighbor's second window, a decomposed-granite path that drains instead of puddles. The plan is the cheapest part of the project and the part that decides whether the rest holds up.
