Connecting El Paso Homeowners with Local Landscapers

El Paso Landscaping Pros is a free matching service. We connect homeowners and businesses with vetted, independent local landscaping contractors who know this desert’s caliche soil, spring wind, and water rules—not a humid-climate playbook.

How we got started

El Paso Landscaping Pros began because the yards here kept failing under plans written for somewhere else. Caliche, alkaline soil, eight inches of rain, and the spring wind season are not footnotes—they are the whole job. Homeowners were calling national companies that dropped generic plans on desert lots, and local crews that did great work were hard to find.

So we built a matching service. We connect you with independent, locally owned landscaping companies across El Paso County and southern New Mexico—contractors who have dug in this soil, know El Paso Water’s address-based watering rules, and choose plants that actually survive a Borderland summer. You tell us about your project, we match you with a local landscaper, and they contact you for a site visit and a free estimate.

We are a free service. The work itself is performed by the independent local landscaping companies we match you with—each one locally owned and operating its own crew. You deal directly with the contractor who does the work, and you decide whether to move forward.

How we vet our partners

We match you with independent local landscaping businesses. The contractors we work with are locally owned and operate their own crews. Before a match, we look for contractors who work in this region and understand its conditions.

Because the work is performed by independent companies, always ask the landscaper who contacts you for proof of insurance and any license the job requires—for example, a TCEQ irrigator license for irrigation work. You hire the contractor directly, and they stand behind their own workmanship.

Service radius

Where we match

We match projects across El Paso County and southern New Mexico from a roughly 45-mile radius around El Paso, including Horizon City, Socorro, San Elizario, Clint, Fabens, Tornillo, Canutillo, Anthony, Vinton, Fort Bliss, Sunland Park, Santa Teresa, Chaparral, Anthony NM, Las Cruces, Mesilla, and La Union.

The warranty

Work is performed by the independent local landscaping company you hire. Workmanship warranties are provided by that contractor—ask the landscaper who contacts you to put their warranty terms in writing on your estimate before any work starts.

For specialty work such as irrigation, ask for proof of the relevant license and insurance before the job begins.
